It was well-staged, with fun use of props that gave a lighter-than-expected vibe to a stage I assumed would be nothing more than puffed-up chests and general badassery. Im not sure the heavy remix was the best choice for this song, and I thought the whole bleeding effect was a little cheesy. The Boyz have been very up-and-down throughout Kingdom a completely different experience from their consistent dominance on Road to Kingdom. Too grudgy/overwhelming personally. Im a fan of Ateez, & while i didnt enjoy their intro stage a lot (I didnt have high expectations heading in either, just bc theyd been so busy with a cb I didnt see how theyd be able to prepare enough) it was still a little crushing to see them rank 5th with fan votes. The last performances for Round 1 of "KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR" were released on April 15 along with the first half of the results. The guys know how to bring a sense of dynamics to a performance, telling a story rather than just bringing the same energy throughout. ATEEZ is my favorite group out of the competitors, and because of that I know they have more to offer than they showed in this stage. Im rooting for several groups, but I feel bad for btob cause they are only doing vocals, but their vocals are kinda average for a boy group maybe a little above but I feel they need more, 6.
