Click 48 hour release to view all persons released from the Must possess and maintain Idaho State Licensure as an EMT; Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & (AED) certification meeting AHA standards; Complete Emergency Vehicle Operations course within one year; Must possess and maintain Idaho State Licensure as a EMT; Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification meeting AHA standards; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications; Must possess and maintain Idaho State Licensure as a PARAMEDIC; Responds to patrol calls for such incidents including but not limited to traffic incidents, domestic situations, burglaries, juvenile disturbances, health and welfare assists, medical and fire emergencies, and animal problems; Determines the existence of probable cause and takes suspects into physical custody; Conducts preliminary and follow-up investigations and collects evidence; Interacts with witnesses, victims, suspects, and offenders in a respectful and appropriate manner; Be willing to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays, depending on assigned shift; Make court appearances on off duty time, if required; Certify through Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Academy within one year of hire; Pass a complete background check and drug testing; Be willing to work in an environment where the employee is subject to potential personal danger and health hazards; Enforces state and local laws and ordinances; Educates the public on marine laws and safety procedures.
